Monty Reid was born in Saskatchewan, and lived for many years in Alberta. Currently he lives in Ottawa. He is the author of many books of poetry starting with Karst Means Stone (NeWest Press, 1979). Three of his books have been nominated for the Governor General's Award. He will be celebrating a new book, Disappointment Island (Chaudiere Books).

Sheila O'Hearn's poetry is a dark cavernous room, crowded with trinkets, oddities, treasures. Please bring flashlights. Her chapbook, The Insatiate, was published in 2005 by Burning Effigy Press.
