National Poetry Month : Joe Blades,

new office poem 17

breakfast of humus on naan
ribeye steak with
eggs in bell pepper rings
yogurt and juice
coffee for office

but forgot carrot sticks
left wrist brace
external hard drive and
cell phone charging cord

reading glasses on desk
with proposal notes
—am thinking to drop
hungary from research
more than enough to
contrast and compare
in countries of former
soviet federal republic
of jugoslavia diaspora
into canada (peoples)

carton of antimatter
ready to ship to
montréal paragraphe
mouth dry no matter
how much water drunk
