John-James Ford: Galle Sri Lanka January 18-19, 2008. Will be reading Friday 18 January, mainly from long poem "Epiphany Season" (not yet published). Conducting a children's workshop Saturday 19th dealing with opening subconscious to the creative process through archetypes. Copies of first novel Bonk on the Head as well as copies of Decalogue 2 will be on sale at the Galle Festival BookFair.

rob mclennan: not only reading/hosting The Peter F. Yacht Club Ottawa launch/Christmas party with various other authors, but hosting the first in a series of monthly readings in Edmonton on Tuesday, January 15; also launching (remotely) the fourth issue of ottawater as part of the (Ottawa) Factory Reading Series on Thursday, January 24, hosted lovingly by Stephen Brockwell.
