Chris Turnbull launches w/ Roger Farr in Vancouver, December 16, 2015

Chris Turnbull launches continua with Vancouver poet Roger Farr as part of Lunch Poems at SFU in Vancouver on Wednesday, December 16 at noon.

CHRIS TURNBULL lives in Kemptville, Ontario. Her recent book, continua (Chaudiere Books 2015) is a multi-voice and visual piece that screens and casts historical, landscape, artefact, and bodily transitions and movements onto page. Textual and spatial elements are "within each other without ever touching"; the "page" is object and projection. Previous work includes [ untitled ] in o w n (CUE Books 2015), alongside work by Heather Hermant and angela rawlings. She publishes poems on trails through her footpress, rout/e.

ROGER FARR is the author of three books of poetry, most recently IKMQ (New Star, 2012), which was a finalist for the Dorothy Livesay Prize. His writing is concerned with the relationship between radical social movements, aesthetics, and everyday life. Currently he is carrying out psychogeographical research in Vancouver and Nanaimo in preparation for a new book. He still teaches Literature and Creative Writing at Capilano University.
