National Poetry Month : Jamie Kitts,

these controversial peaches

wear white to my wedding

there is more white on the tablecloths

the socks and dress shirts and pearls

than any dress i could drag

dirty across the ground

i am not so precious

there’s a war going on

have a beer at my funeral

bring your needles and your pipes

let my final resting place

be a safe injection site

toast my rpg life knowing

i'm fighting the final boss

that gold-plated narcissist in the sky

upload my works to z-library

if you see me in chapters indigo

i give you explicit permission to shoplift

steal my album like toxicity 2

repost my poems on tiktok

like a smutty transfem june bates

she[n]is the poem and other guitar solos
